Tomorrow is the Madonna concert.
I don’t know how I’m supposed to handle all of these emotions.

I feel no shame in that I have been listening to this all day in celebration of my birthday.
Just to show how excited I am for this album, I took a half picture with it.
When I went to buy it this morning, Target hadn’t stocked the CD shelves yet. An employee asked me if I needed any help so I asked her where the Madonna album was. She proceeded to make three different trips to the stockroom to find it for me. The third trip was after she brought me the standard edition and I had to ask her to find me the deluxe. I’m sure she now hates me. But I made sure to tell her how excited I was.
I can honestly tell you that MDNA is the best album of 2012 so far. “I’m Addicted” builds and builds with Madonna talking about the joys of love and obsession. About three minutes in, she proclaims “I need to dance.” Then the song explodes into a dance break that I can only describe as beautiful. Afterwards, she chants M-D-N-A right into the song’s finale. I haven’t been able to stop listening to this song in particular since I heard the album, but I can say the rest of the album is incredible. In the words of Nicki Minaj, “There’s only one queen and that’s Madonna, bitch.”
